Now we are starting the process of compiling an anthology of articles based on the papers given at (or intended for) the conference.

Similarly to our colleagues in Copenhagen, we intend to publish a thematically coherent volume of peer-reviewed scholarly articles written in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or English and dedicated to the conference theme. The volume is planned for the Scandinavistica Vilnensis series, Vilnius University Publishing. Several books in the series have been included into Web of Science Master Book List. (You can see here the latest of these, also an anthology of scholarly articles.) Cooperation with another publisher will also be considered after the paper selection procedure has been completed. The working title of the book is Memory and Remembrance in Scandinavian Cultures.

This working title can accommodate (without being limited to) explorations of a wide range of memory-related aspects of Scandinavian literature, film and other media, questions of Scandinavian literary history and developments of Scandinavian culture throughout the time.  Anchoring your analysis on theoretical underpinnings of memory culture studies is much encouraged.

We invite those of you who wish to contribute to the publication to reformulate your original abstract and title with regard to the theme as well as the publication format of a scientific article.
